Patient Safety and Quality of Care – Our Assurance to You

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) recently reviewed our practice and raised concerns in three areas:

• Some staff had not completed enhanced DBS checks.
• Patients on certain high-risk medicines were not always monitored as regularly as expected.
• Vulnerable patients were not consistently coded on our clinical system.

What we have done:

• All staff have now completed the required checks.
• New systems are in place to ensure safe and regular medication monitoring.
• A register of vulnerable patients has been created and is being actively maintained.

No patients were found to have come to harm. Your safety and care remain our highest priority, and we are committed to making sure these improvements are sustained.
